The “KITE fighters: Kids and Teachers Fighting for Inclusion” project aims to assist pedagogues working with young people, with a focus on diversities, to strengthen social inclusion, and promote peer-to-peer communication and team building.
The KITE fighters project stress the role of bullying as major threat for the self-development and for the growth of a healthy and inclusive society. In this context, the project wants to offer a concrete support to teachers and students, providing them with innovative methods and tools to cope with bullying situations and prevent the escalation of conflicts at school.
During our project, we will develop a national adaptation plans for schools, a toolkit for teachers, a teacher training curriculum, and run pilots in the classrooms. Finally, we will develop as part of our website a “KITE Empowerment Platform” for gaining access to teachers and download materials and case studies, based on storytelling, symbolwork, folk tales and other non-formal educational approaches.
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+: Key Action 2, Strategic Partnership for school education.
